So yes, you can make money from PPC, but how do you do it? Read this series and I'll walk you through the "how" of making money with PPC. I expect this to be the most popular article series that I have written, so if I miss an important comment, please feel free to email me and let me know about the comment you left at brandonchopkins@gmail.com
This first post is just to let you know how I plan to run this test. This test will hopefully take my money and double it. That will cover expenses that most people don't think of like time and learned abilities. Time is a huge factor for me right now, I'm moving into a new house, have a lot of web "stuff" (what do you call all of the websites, ppc campaigns, forums, etc?) and I really enjoy spending time with my wife. Time must be considered into your profit margins. If you don't, you might break even, or even make a little money, but that would mean you are working for $0 an hour. Not what I consider profitable.
In recap, PPC is a great way to make money, work part time doing something you enjoy, can be great for work at home mothers (WAHM, SAHM, fathers, anyone actually) and can supplement your income. "Can" is the key phrase here. Not everyone will make money, and some people will lose money. I do not suggest getting into PPC if you can't afford to lose the money you are working with.
With this test, I already have an affiliate chosen through AzoogleAds. I chose AzoogleAds because they have a new affiliate I wanted to try working with, I like my account manager Fraser (and Jai), and they always have great payouts. The only downside is the lack of reporting. They report all of the basics like clicks, money earned, etc, and they'll let you track clicks, but that is about it. Still I like them better than any other affiliate company.
I plan to disclose everything except the affiliate company I am using, my keywords and anything that might skew the results by giving me additional competition.
I would love some feedback on this test so either email me or post a comment. I'm going to get to work on setting up my campaign!

Disclaimer: This is a test that I am running just to show you what can happen with PPC. You shouldn't try anything written in this blog as it is possible to lose money.

Brandon,
Can't wait for the first installment :)
