I created a template of how I think the landing page should look. I was planning on just having a simple gif or jpg landing page with all of the info I needed, but then thought about CSS. It is less bulky, and looks less spammy in my opinion.
After about 20 minutes I had my first bid. I'm waiting on AIM through iChat to talk to this guy...he submitted an bid of $100 which I think might be the minimum for Elance. $100 seems a little steep for a 1 page CSS site. Given enough time I think I could find a free template that does what I want, but that would be time I don't have.
As I was telling Fraser today on the phone, I don't normally use many landing pages. Either I go straight to the affiliate, depending on their landing page, or I create a single page on an existing site that has the same layout as the current site. Not much of a landing page.
I hope this landing page will give me a little better conversion ratio and maybe I'll ask the guy if he can give it to me in a few different color schemes. That would make for easy testing in terms of color!
Any other tips for my landing page?
