Tips from the Old Welsh Guy about Landing Pages
If you aren't a member of the DigitalPoint forums, or other great forums around the web, then you don't know James, the Old Welsh Guy.  James had a great post about about how to defeat the new Google algorithm by creating great landing pages.  This post wasn't revolutionary, but it contains a great amount of knowledge obviously time-tested and proven.

Here is the post:

1. Re-enforce the offer of the advert. If the advert says. 2 ducks for a dollar, then that should be the headline on the page.

2. Make it INCREDIBLY easy for people to buy, a MASSIVE buy now button will do it.

3. Place third party re-enforcements to build credibility. Paypal verified, credit cards etc.

4. Ask for the order LOTS.

5. Keep the page really short, just info on the product (answer all the questions who, what, when., why , where, How), and image and a 'BUY NOW' button

Make different landing pages for each offer (advert). I know it is hard work but your sales will sky rocket.

After you have read those, read them a few more times again and see how they can apply to your landing pages.

I don't ask for the order enough, and the "PayPal Verified" and credit card images do indeed build credibility.
