AdWords API Maintenance July 29th.
From Google AdWords API Blog:
We will be performing routine AdWords system maintenance from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. PDT on Saturday, July 29, 2006. While all AdWords advertisements will continue to run as normal, you may not be able to perform any API operations during this maintenance period.
Sounds pretty normal, but what really is "system maintenance"? Everyone does it, but I work in technology and I never have to perform this "system maintenance".
AdWords Content CTR doesn't matter?
I have never noticed this, so it might be new. At the bottom of my Ad Group page I read this, "Lower CTRs for content ads do not adversely affect your campaign." Can anyone confirm the length this disclaimer has been there?
That is great news for me because I have been testing running certain abitrage campaigns on the content network and was worried because my CTR for the content network was below 1%, about 1/3rd of my search CTR.

Plunger Network's PPC Test Ended Early?
The $2500 PPC experiment that I have mentioned a few times at PlungerNetwork.com has apparently stopped. It may still be continuing but I doubt it. The author hasn't updated in over a week and was only 1 week into the experiment. I posted a comment in the last post, if you'd like to see the experiment continue, drop the author a comment and let him know you care!
Any other news that I've missed in the last week?
