
If not, do you know how much you average customer acquisition costs you? If you are in a high sale sector (real estate, car sales, mortgages, etc) then you might actually know this.
If you are in small to medium sized retail business, you probably don't have an actual cost per customer, it would be very hard to track. However, is it less than $.05 per customer?
With Google AdWords it could be. AdWords allows you to advertise to certain location. For example, you can advertise to your city, your state, or even your country if you would like to.
This gives you the ability to take your costs per customer down to a very small level. If you are in a high profit margin industry like mortages you might still have to pay more for your customers, but hopefully your high CTR will lower the amount you actually have to pay per click.
